Directions

1. Be sure room is properly ventilated. 2. Vacuum carpet to remove surface soil. 3. If carpet has not been cleaned before, check for colorfastness by spraying cleaner on small hidden area, as directed below. 4. Shake can well before using, and frequently during use. 5. Remove plastic cap. Hold can upside down, about 2 ft from carpet. Press gently on spray button to apply. 6. Wipe overspray off furniture or furniture legs. To clean lightly soiled, normal traffic areas: holding can upside down, move it in a sweeping side-to-side pattern to apply a very thin layer of foam; let foam dry for about 15 minutes. Allow extra drying time in humid weather, or on deep pile or shag carpets; when foam is completely dry, vacuum carpet in two directions, thoroughly removing all foam and loosened soil. For best result, use maximum suction and a new vacuum bag. To clean heavily soiled, high traffic areas: spray a thin, even layer of foam on a 3 ft square area; using a clean, wet sponge, mop, scrub area in one direction. Then scrub same section at right angles to work foam into carpet fibers. Finish by mopping in one direction to raise carpet's nap. Rinse mop in clean water. Continue mopping in 3 ft square areas until entire carpet has been cleaned. Allow carpet to dry completely - about 2 to 4 hours. Vacuum up loosened soil using maximum suction and a new vacuum bag. To clean upholstery: Clean a small, hidden area and examine for colorfastness when dry. Use on fabrics with a W or WS cleaning code. Do not use on fabrics with an S code. Do not use on velvet or silk. Vacuum prior to cleaning to remove loose soil. Holding can upside down, spray lightly and spread foam with a clean, damp, colorfast sponge or cloth. Rinse sponge or cloth and squeeze until damp. Repeat as necessary. Clean a small area at a time. Allow to dry thoroughly, then vacuum. On vinyl or plastic, wipe off foam with a clean cloth or sponge before it dries. This can cleans an area of approximately 180 square feet.
